In our second century, the League has big plans. We're working for online voter registration, a national popular vote, and a ban on corporate contributions. We're bringing innovative civic education to communities across the state. And we're defending against all threats to our democracy.

Over the course of the week, we met with Maine's Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows, and the D.C. League of Women Voters. We talked about tracking the issues we care about, as part of our Advocacy in the Maine Legislature series, hosted our first ever crafting night, dove into Portland's Green New Deal, and wrapped up Saturday talking about generational change and getting Generation Z excited to vote. It was, to put it mildly, a busy week. Thanks for joining the many events and taking action with us. We hope to see everyone in person next year.
